It includes workout videos where you will learn how to do an exercise properly. Seeing the exercise in motion gives me idea what I was doing right or wrong during my exercise.

Why You Should Not Dare to Buy Fat Loss Supplements

I came across on Bodybuilding website about a fat loss capsule – Lipo-6, that has “unique feature that rapidly enhances muscle definition and a lean midsection, while attacking those troubled love handles and lower back areas”.

This enticed me very well, since I still have portion of love handles on my midsection. So I decided to buy. Within a week, it was delivered and I used it right away. I followed recommended dose of 2 capsules first on the first week, then increase it to 3 the following week.

It is only the first week that I noticed a difference…it got me worse! I got cramps on my legs whenever I just jog on the treadmill. I felt weak when I lift the usual weights I know I could lift. I felt heart palpitations and got tired easily. I know there is something wrong and I was afraid — this is my health I am risking now.

I was wondering that is it could just only be me that I was doing something wrong when taking this supplement? Why other people on the website (in the promotional website) are doing well? In fact this is rated as no. 1 fat loss supplement – in a no.1 bodybuilding website I know.

So I checked on the forum, searched for guggul since it is the main ingredient of Lipo 6…holy cow, look at what I find:

There, I wasted my money buying a dangerous product. Why this supplement was ever promoted by this no.1 website?

A follow-up email was sent to me by the site marketing manager, asking me if how did I find the product. I just shake my head in disbelief, here I was buying this supplement, only to be used as somehow a ‘guinea’ pig for this supplement.

Now I know better, I have read this advice before, in the excellent e-book by Tom Venuto, but I did not followed it: Fat Loss Supplements do not work! Find out in that book what really works-it is very true. Check out in HealthAndFitness-Secrets.com

Better ingrain that principle now, meditate on that as you wish, and never believe in everything you read in no.1 website or magazine. You may end up the same as me or worst, it may jeopardize your health.

Exercising at Home – Need for Video Instructions

There are a number of reasons why we prefer to exercise at home, rather than working out on a gym. It is time-saving as well as cost-saving, you will cut down on travel time and gym membership fees.

But what does it take to exercise right at your own home? Will you get the same fitness benefits, or reach your fitness goals just the same? For some who has complete set of equipment (dumbbells, barbells of different weights, treadmill, etc.) yes, it could be. It would be more expensive initially but it will have longer benefits in the long run.

The downside is you will miss the social opportunities to meet other people face to face, who has the same interest with you of keeping fit. It will be a great motivation looking at other people, exerting effort to lift that weight so you will do the same; plus of course, seeing the opposite sex who is really attractive and it keeps your blood flowing high :)

The most important is, if you are just starting out to workout or on a new routine at home, you must have a guidance from a spotter or personal trainer who will show you how to correctly perform an exercise. Not keeping a proper form will lead to injuries, so for safety, it is best to have a spotter or a friend working out with you, to check on proper form when exercising and giving you motivation.

At home, a friend, wife/husband or workout partner could be available, but most of the time, this is not possible and you will be exercising alone.

Instructional videos are helpful in these case, so you can see the proper form of exercising and follow on; for example, on how to properly do a bicep curl, and you can imitate and see in a mirror if you are doing the same. I find this as effective method, since I enjoy the privacy and at the same time concentrating on the exercise. It is also motivating to workout when seeing somebody on video, as if he/she is exercising with you.

Secret of Losing Weight – Plain & Simple Truth

Have you ever wondered why most Weight Loss program or Diet failed to provide you the results you wanted? You have all the motivation in the world to lose weight, but still, it’s not working. You peek on that weighing scale every morning and there is very little difference…Why? First, the reason is because these Diets are very hard to follow. Thirdly, you will follow on a Low-fat, Low-calorie, and Low-carb diets…and the result is you’re very weak to even walk to turn-off that TV from your sofa bed! You have starved yourself and you have no energy. Your body metabolism became slow; you’re not burning the fat and not losing weight. I have been there and tried those Diets; I just don’t have the energy doing the things I needed for work and for
my family. 

So, what’s works now to finally lose those flabs?

It’s really no secret at all! It’s just the plain truth — in order to lose weight, you have to exercise! Just plain and simple truth! There’s no other shortcut to it! (If you’re thinking about other ways, I’m sure it is very unhealthy and very, very expensive to try those other ways, like diet pills that you’re unsure of any side effects, and liposuction, for example) You have to run, jog, do cardio or play sports to burn those fats!

I agree this simple truth is what most people already know, but fail to really believe into!  My 7-year old daughter knows this! Everybody knows, but why most people would not exercise to keep fit or lose weight? Again, simple truth is most people’s excuse is, “I have no time!” or, “I will just follow on the low-carb, low-fat diet plan”. We like shortcuts. We lose some weight, but could not keep up with the diet and gain weight again and diet  again and lose weight, gain weight later…it goes on circles. We already know we must exercise, but we don’t do it. We have to be a firm believer, I must say, not just knowledge of, on keeping regular exercise, to keep on losing weight. This is really no secret, huh?

I myself have been weighing 90kg before; I was 17kg overweight before, 3 months ago! I realized then I have been beginning to suffer from hypertension and heart-related illnesses because of my weight and decided that I need to lose weight. I had those really ugly and bulging love handles! I have tried several methods, including those Diet plans and pills! But none of those worked. There is minimal result initially, after 1 or 2 months my original weight would be going back again.What really worked is doing some exercise or workout on a gym. The gym could be your home gym with minimal equipment, or a near-by fitness club gym with all sorts of exercise equipment. I have worked-out on a local gym, exercise 2 or 3 days a week, follow simple exercise or workout plan, and now, I am on my ideal weight of 73kg in 3 months! I am proud of my body now that I could go to the beach without trying to hide my abs! I really did not follow certain Diet plan; I just did cut down on the quantity of what I usually eat.
